The Clearly 5-stage faucet filter with multi-microfilter and multi-stage function is a unique water purifier that filters water in 5 stages, effectively reducing and removing hundreds of contaminants. Water passes through a pre- and post-filter pad (1 micro 1/25000 of an inch), which removes substances such as sand, silt, rust, dirt, sediment, cysts (Giardia, Cryptosporidium), and other suspended particles.

Eagle Redox Alloy 6500 and Eagle Redox 9500 reduce, among other things, iron, lead, mercury, copper, nickel, chromium, arsenic, cadmium, aluminum, and hydrogen sulfides, while preventing bacterial growth, fungi, algae, and other microorganisms.

GAC (granular activated carbon) reduces chemicals such as TTHMs, benzene, chlorine, bisphenol A, pesticides, pharmaceutical residues, and other chemical contaminants that may be present in the water and cause unpleasant taste and odor. Please note that it only applies to cold water!

Ion exchange resin reduces heavy metals like lead, copper, and aluminum.

What's KDF, REDOX and GAC?

The water passes through KDF-55D and KDF-85D filter media. These filters are made of a special pure metal blend of copper and zinc. KDF is crucial for water purification through the electrochemical oxidation process, known as REDOX, to be as efficient as possible. KDF-55D and KDF-85D prevent the growth of bacteria, algae, and fungi, which is a unique feature. Clearly's products also filter water through granular activated carbon, abbreviated as GAC. Clearly's GAC filters meet the requirements for ANSI 42 NSF certification, and the KDF filters meet the requirements for ANSI 61/42 NSF certification. Clearly's 2-stage 1-micron filter pad is manufactured by an ISO 9001-approved manufacturer.
